Biography
Daniel Jacoby (Lima, 1985) began his Fine Arts degree in La Universidad Católica del Perú and completed it at La Universitat de Barcelona. For the last two years his work has been centred upon a series of actions he calls Methods. Some of these actions have been exhibited at shows at L’Aparador de Mollet, la Biennal d’Art Ciutat d’Amposta, Exposició núm. 2 (Sala d’Art Jove) and Loop ’08 (Auditori Hotel Catalonia Ramblas). Jacoby has also shown his work in Lima, Bogotá, Correggio, Sardinia and Andorra. Prizes include La Biennal d’Arts Visuals de Burriana, El Premi Miquel Casablancas, and El Premio Proyecciones in the Espacio Movistar, and was awarded a grant from La Fundació Guasch Coranty. Currently he is studying his Masters at the University of Barcelona.
