Aeropornomancias is made up of 22 collages, each based on the main Tarot cards. Freely reinterpreted by the artist, they are charged with eroticism and symbols from the world of aviation. The seemingly impossible combination of these elements holds true to the Surrealist premise based upon a phrase by Lautréamont, "as beautiful as the chance encounter of a sewing machine and an umbrella on a dissecting table": the joining of disconnected, dislocated or even contadictory realities.
