Square Studio's second show offers us four different approaches to the mural and a chance to reflect upon site-specific parameters of working directly onto the wall.

Four artists from different geographical and practical backgrounds – the show brings together artists from Venezuela, Germany and England – orchestrate the meeting of two worlds. Working directly onto the walls of one's surroundings is a practice which has existed as long as art itself but which has recently enjoyed a renaissance with the globalisation of graffiti. The gathering of “fine” artists revisiting the tradition of the mural with a graffiti artist demonstrates that the worlds of “high” and “low” are not as dissimilar as we might think.
